    Keoladeo National Park: Formerly known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Keoladeo is a paradise for birds and birdwatchers alike. It is listed as an IBA (Important Bird Area) and is a World Heritage Site. Although small (29 sq. km), it is home to almost 400 species of birds, out of which more than 132 breed inside the National Park. Birding here is a rewarding experience, with sightings like Siberian Rubythroat, Bluethroat, Greater White-fronted Goose, Comb Duck, Tufted Duck, Mallard, Spotted Crake, Water Rail, Painted Snipe, Oriental Darter, Lesser Adjutant, Sarus Crane and Common Crane, Greater Spotted Eagle, Pallid Harrier, Red-headed Falcon, and Brown Fish-owl.

    Chambal river, a tributary of the Yamuna river, flows northwards through Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Chambal is one of the best places to see threatened wildlife; such as the critically endangered Gavial or Gharial, vulnerable Indian Skimmer, endangered Black-bellied Tern and Gangetic Dolphin, near-threatened Laggar Falcon and vulnerable Pallas’s Fish-eagle and Smooth-coated Otter.

Tour Itinerary

  • Arrive Delhi airport, clear customs & immigration. Met by our representative and transfer to the hotel. (Note: Most of the international flights arrives late night or early in the morning). Check in at the hotel & relax. Overnight at the hotel.

    Delhi is said to have been destroyed and rebuilt seven times during the reign of different royal dynasties, hence the legend of the “ seven cities of Delhi.” And dizzying traffic. Also known as ‘Dilli’ by the locals, the smells, sights and sounds of this city sweep your senses, disorienting and fascinating you at the same time. Gateway to the rest of India, Delhi is a truly cosmopolitan city and set to leave a lasting impression on every visitor ‘s

  • Post the leisurely breakfast, start your tour with the main attraction of Old Delhi the 2nd biggest mosque of India, Jama mosque followed by the cycle rickshaw ride of Asia’s largest wholesale market Chandni Chowk. Cross the decorated streets of Kenari Bazar, spice market and many more gems of the old Delhi.

    Post the hustle & bustle of old Delhi you will move to New Delhi. A stop for photography outside the Red fort and later visit the Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Later you will be visiting the famous Govt. buildings of New Delhi, the President house, Parliament house and the war memorial India Gate. Later you will be taken to visit the replica of Taj Mahal in New Delhi, the Humayun Tomb and your day will be end with a visit of the tallest pillar of city the Qutub Minar

  • After breakfast drive to city of Taj Mahal – Agra. Agra is set on a bend in the sacred Yamuna River and had a strategic defensive position throughout its history. Both the Taj and the highly impressive Red Fort overlook the river, as do have several significant tombs and mausoleums from the Mughal period. The Taj is the undoubted highlight, a magnificent structure that easily lives up to its exalted reputation. It should be the must- visit city in your itinerary when you are travelling for the first time in the country.

    Arrive and check in at the hotel. Later you will be visiting Agra Fort - Now let's move on to the following architectural gem, Agra Fort, which was built in 1573 by Mughal Emperor Akbar with the help of 4,000 laborers over the course of eight years. The Mughal Empire's headquarters, Agra Fort, is built of red sandstone. The Sheesh Mahal, Moti Mahal, Jehangir's Palace, and Khas Mahal are some of the most well- known sights in Agra Fort that will leave you spellbound.

    Visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum located on the western bank of the Yamuna River near the Yamuna Bridge Railway Station in Agra. The tomb is also known as the Jewel Box or Baby Taj as it looks like a smaller version of the Taj Mahal. While returning to the hotel visit the Taj Mahal from the other side of the Yamuna River (Mehtab Bagh)

  • Early morning visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Return to the hotel for breakfast, later check-outy and drive Chambal National Sanctuary. Check-in at the resort. Post lunch, late afternoon go for Blackbuck Jeep safari - The Blackbuck jeep safari heads southwest towards the countryside between the Chambal and Yamuna ravines, for excellent sightings of Blackbuck deer and numerous dry land birds including the Indian Courser. It is also a fascinating journey through remote hamlets and habitations; a world that is strangely as connected as it appears removed from modern India. Return to the hotel after dark.

  • Early morning drive another 22kms to reach Chambal River for the morning River Safari - Set against a stunning backdrop, framed by the ravines and sandbanks, the calm waters of the Chambal River are best explored on boats. The gentle pace of the River Safari is designed to provide spectacular sightings of the gharials, muggers & turtles basking in the sun; the many migratory and resident birds flying sorties; the occasional glimpses of the Gangetic river dolphins breaking surface. Return to the hotel for lunch and relax. Late afternoon do a Jeep safari to visit the Sarus Crane Conservation Reserve. It is a widespread wetland area, interspersed by cultivated fields, where large numbers of the Sarus Cranes breed. Although not a protected area, since 1999 the Supreme Court of India, recognising its importance as a habitat has designated the area a reserve with restrictions on development. Several species of wetland birds and raptors are also found along the course of this safari. Return to the hotel by late evening.

  • Morning after a leisurely break, check-out from the resort and drive to Keoladeo Ghana National Park (Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary) en route stopping at the Fatehpur Sikri the abondoned. Arrive and check in at the hotel and relax. Late afternoon visit the Bird Sanctuary along with expert naturalist, explore the park by foot and Rickshaw ride. Return to the hotel by late evening.

  • Early morning explore the Bird sanctuary along with the Naturalist, the area has a different charm during the time of surise. Return to the hotel. After breakfast, drive to Ranthambhore, arrive and check in at the hotel.

    Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national parks in Northern India. Located in the Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan. Apart from the Tigers, you can also spot sloth bear, caracal, jackal, fox, hyena and mongoose during Safari. In good numbers, you can find Chital, Sambhar deer, Nilgai, Monkey, Langur and an incredible variety of birds. Basking crocodiles, king vulture on a snag, the scream of the serpent eagle, the alarm calls of spotted deer are some sights and sounds that make this a safari experience like none other.

    Evening will be at leisure to enjoy wilderness or visit the Ranthambhore Fort.

  • Enjoy the early morning tea/ coffee at the hotel before going for a safari. By 0630 hrs pickup from your hotel by park guide & jeep and you will drive to pre-decide zone of the national park. Post a 03 hours safari you will return to your hotel and enjoy your breakfast upon arrival.

    Relax at the poolside or in your room before pickup for the afternoon safari.

    Evening you will be picked up for your safari and you will drive to a pre-deiced zone of the national park. Post 03- hours of safari you will return to the hotel and you will be greeted by tea/coffee and some cookies at the reception. Share your safari experience with other guests who are also back from safari. Later relax and enjoy your leisurely dinner at the hotel.

  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur via Abhaneri Step Well. Abhaneri - The Chand Baori is a stepwell built over a thousand years ago in the Abhaneri village of Rajasthan. It is one of the largest stepwells in the world and also one of the most beautiful ones.

    Later drive to Jaipur, arrive and check in at the hotel.

    Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan which was founded in 1727 by Raja Jai Singh II, to replace the old capital which was located around 11 km away ‘Ämber’. The city is known as the Pink City, primarily due to the pink paint done surround the walls of city for the welcome of Prince of Wales. The City Palace continues to house the former royal family, the royal observatory, the honeycomb Hawa Mahal gazes on the bazaar below and the fairy-tale grandeur of Amber Fort are the star attraction of Jaipur.

  • Morning after breakfast take an excursion to Amber Fort, ascend the fort by Jeeps. Visit the ancient capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city, surrounded by fortified battlements.

    Later visit to the impressive City palace, still a private home of Royal Family located surrounded the pink walls city. Visit the largest observatory, which was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II for measuring the heavens. Explore the local market with a stop to at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) from outside.

  • Winter (October - February)

    The winter months are the best time to visit Central India if you’re keen to set off on a wildlife safari in national parks such as Bandhavgarh, Kanha & Pench National Parks. This is the time when tigers and other animals are easily spotted, and the weather makes for cool, comfortable game drives.

    Tip: The temperature on safari can fluctuate, so it’s a good idea to dress in layers according to the season that you can easily remove or add as needed. The winter can be quite cold in the mornings and evenings (specially Dec, Jan and Feb), but warm during the day. So, it’s best to dress in layers to regulate your body temperature throughout the day. Start with a base layer of thermal underwear, add a middle layer of fleece or wool, and top it off with a windproof outer layer.

    Spring (March - May)

    This is the dry season in Central India, making it the perfect time for wildlife enthusiasts to start on a journey , majestic tigers and elusive leopards roam free. The best months for tiger spotting are April, May and June, as the temperature soars and the tigers come out in search of remaining water sources. However, it's important to note that temperatures can rise up to 40°C and above, so this season is not for the faint-hearted.

    Tip: Pack comfortable and breathable clothing suitable for the weather and your favourite snacks for the long safari drives.

    Summer (June - Sep)

    Heavy rainfall is ecpected in Central India during the monsoon months of July, August and September. While this might not be the best time to visit Central India, there is a unique charm to the region during the wet months. It's important to keep in mind that roads can flood during the rainy days, so it's wise to plan ahead and allow for some flexibility in case of unexpected road closures.

    Tip: Be prepared for sudden rain showers and keep an umbrella or raincoat handy during monsoon season.

  • Central India Tiger Safari includes the 3 best parks for spotting and photograph tigers in the wild. However it is not possible to guarantee of spotting any big cats in the wilderness of Indian Parks. The chances are 95% positive though, we did not had any guests as of date, who has taken this Cantral India Tiger Tour and not seen a tiger. These parks boasts a high density of Tigers, and we at Rainbow safaris only focus that you have a wonderful and memorable wildlife experience during the tour.
